AIR MAURITIUS DEMO DAY 3
For the third day running Air Mauritius
were shamed to the extreme with yet another demo. We had less activists than
yesterday and so decided to go
inside and speak to them. The "Oh no, it's that protester guy again,
how did he get in?!!" look on the workers' faces was priceless.
If they leave their door open they're
asking for it. Plenty of other people just waltz in and out freely so I figured
they'd welcome a familiar face. Unfortunately I
got the usual hostile attitude, I guess that's expected coming from people
who are in full support of such extreme violence.
I made a bit of noise with my voice and an airhorn which, needless to say,
helped quite a bit. The workers were reluctant to take leaflets from me and
just kicked me out instead, but not before I made my point very clear, we
don't leave them alone until they stop the torture.
Air Mauritius are starting to feel the effects of the campaign against them.
It's just a matter of time before they give up their work in the live primate
trade, and not too soon either, as for every day that passes, those monkeys
suffer another 24 hours of pain, despair and fear on an unimaginable scale.
Those monkeys have suffered enough,
let's bring that day of animal liberation one step closer. Don't wait to be
asked, don't wait to be told, just make that decision to get out there and
get active! Every monkey that
Air Mauritius kidnaps NEEDS us to fight for them. Just ask yourself how you
would feel if you were taken away fom your home to spend the rest of your
life imprisoned in hell, and just ask yourself what you would want people
to do to get you out of there. The fight goes on...
