THOMAS COOK DEMO IN DUBLIN

On Saturday, July 2nd, nine activists
decided to pay a visit to Thomas Cook during a day of demos. While setting
up an information stand and handing out leaflets and post cards, 2 of the
activists decided to venture inside the Thomas Cook premises. It was packed
with customers booking their holidays. Could it possibly get any better? Every
customer was given a leaflet and informed as to why they shouldn't book their
holidays through Thomas Cook. Most looked very uncomfortable. And two left
after deciding they would book their holidays somewhere else.
A female worker, passing herself off as a stand-in manageress, quickly told
the activists that she had called the cops and that they had better leave.
But more customers had come in and needed to be told why they should boycott
Thomas Cook, causing this manageress to make even more phone calls. The staff
in Thomas Cook had been informed of what a low-life company they worked for.
Customers had left to purchase holidays elsewhere. But Thomas Cook hasn't
seen the last of us.
