Thomas Cook demos in Holland

Thomas Cook in Arnhem. This was
in a very busy market area and when the bullhorns started and pictures of
mutilated monkeys were shown to a huge audience they stopped shopping and
took notice of our demo. A few of us went into the office and made a lot of
noise and some stayed outside with signs. Hundreds of people were horrified
to learn that Thomas Cook was proffiting from such a horrible place. As this
was a mobile demo we didn't stay long but long enough for hundreds of people
to learn about Mauritius and Thomas Cooks and to learn our slogan "Don't
Thomas Cook it! Book Elsewhere".
We then moved on to our next target: Thomas Cook in Utrecht. Just ten minutes
before closing we entered the office and had a very loud demo. The demos seem
to be getting more and more angry and this was no exception. We were so loud
that people outside on the street a few blocks away were looking towards Thomas
Cook and again more people learning about the dirty primate trade and the
part that Thomas Cook plays! As a company that depends on the public this
is bad news and we have just begun. Around the world Thomas Cook is being
demoed. We are going to win - there will be no more monkey farms in Mauritius
and maybe no more tourists.
We then jumped on our bikes and had a nice ride home.
