Thomas Cook demo in Wrexham

Protestors held another effective demo outside the Wrexham branch of Thomas Cook today. We gave out thousands of leaflets and many people pledged to write to the company to protest against their refusal to stop selling holidays to this island of death.

The staff at Thomas Cook had some bizarre ways of coping with the demonstration. First they put a stereo with music blaring out in the shop doorway ? nice try, guys, but after several customers nearly tripped over it maybe the management should put their staff on a health and safety course! Next the numpties actually came out and swelled the demonstration. They hadn'?t quite grasped the whole ?boycott the animal abusers? thing ? they tried to give out fliers for holiday bargains. But most passers by took our leaflets, ignored the TC crew, and must have assumed that the Thomas Cook staff were supporting our calls to boycott their own company. Nice one!
