Thomas Cook demo in Harrogate

Today activists in Harrogate went out to demo Thomas Cook as part of the Mauritius week of action.
First stop was a little Thomas Cook shop. Leaflets were given to passers buy and those going in, telling them what dirty secrets lie behind the glossy travel brochures. The megaphone helped inform people inside the shop what is happening to primates. The police turned up but soon left, reminding us that the CCTV was watching, and asking for names.
Then we moved onto another TC shop. Cameras were quick to spin round as the megaphone shocked the staff inside, who got straight on the phone to
the police. Only a few people entered the shop and one went to de-book her holiday.
