Mauritius demo in New Zealand

Animal rights campaigners gathered outside a central city travel agent Harvey World Travel on Friday to launch the New Zealand part of the campaign against the primate trade.
 
Passers by were shocked when they saw photos of what happens to monkeys when Mauritius sells them to vivisection labs. Hundreds of leaflets were given out and there was heaps of support from the public.
 
We then visited the office of the  NZ Association of Travel Agents which was just around the corner. We informed them that this boycott campaign was spreading and that we wanted them to notify all their members that this campaign was carrying on until no one sold flights or tours to Mauritius. We told them this was just the beginning and that anyone having any involvement at all in promoting Mauritius as a travel destination should expect to hear from us.
