Demo at Mauritian Embassy in London

A dozen activists met up at the Mauritian Embassy, not the overkill policing we had last time, but still enough to draw attention to the Embassy. With banners, placards and plenty of vocal noise all around and inside could tell why we were there to shame the Mauritian Embassy and the Mauritian government for allowing monkeys to be caught and transported to vivisection labs around the world.

The people inside peer out and film us, as if that bothers us. Not once do they ever come out to argue their case, instead they hide away inside waiting for us to leave. The Mauritian government gets a $50 kick back for every monkey exported off the island. So they are an integral part of the primate trade as well as allowing it to happen on their soil.
