Thomas Cook and the island of Mauritius: Partners in animal cruelty! Today we linked 2 key players in animal torture, Thomas Cook and Mauritius.

We started at a TC shop in Mechelen. We informed every customer and passerby about TC's involvement with Mauritius, the hell for primates!

TC can deny there responsibility in this filthy business as much as they want. Most of the general public we talked to understood perfectly that TC is one of Europe's largest sellers of Mauritius holidays and that their temporary boycott would mean a world of difference for the monkeys. Never heard of the simular boycott actions against the evil apartheid regime in South Africa in the
eighties, TC? But TC doesn't care about the suffering those beautiful animals have to endure, they only care about money. TC, you would be surprised how many people felt the same disgust for you as we feel!

We were there for just 45 minutes, but managed to keep a couple of potential customers away who changed their initial plans to go in and book a holiday at TC. Good stuff people!

Many people signed our petition and wished us good luck. So, you see we're getting the message over TC!

After that we met up at the Mauritian embassy in Brussels. With banner, placards and plenty of vocal noise we told everybody loud and clear about Mauritius' involvement in animal cruelty.

For 90 minutes we named and shamed them, while the cowards inside the embassy were hiding themselves. We politely asked (like we do every time) for a meeting with the ambassador, Mr Gunessee, but surprise surprise, once again he didn't want to be confronted with the truth.
And what a truth, thousands of monkeys, caught in the wild, to be sent to their death in labs like HLS, and the sickest part of it is that the Mauritian goverment is making money out of this!!! How sick and evil can you be.

Mr Gunessee, it's now nearly a year that we come to your embassy. Every month we are there, rain or sunshine it doesn't matter for us, to defend the voiceless animals. Don't ever doubt our determination, we never give up untill we finish the job! We are no bystanders, the
animals have a defender in us, we will never fail them!
