Mauritian
Embassy demo in Belgium
Mauritius is trying so hard to sell their island as a perfect
holiday destination... So it must be very worrying for them knowing there
is a global campaign against them and their massive export of primates
for the vivisection industry.
Once again this campaign went to the Embassy of Mauritius in Belgium (Bollandistenstraat
68, Etterbeek). For one hour we stood outside to voice our disgust about
this sickening trade. We asked very politely to talk to the ambassador,
Mr Gunessee, but even with police officers present he declined. He was
"still very shaken after the vandalism that hit his embassy a couple
of weeks before"...
Ok, just hide inside your building, filming us the whole
time, we have nothing to hide. We're here for the innocent
animals you and your governement catch by the thousands to send to their
death in laboratories like HLS. If you think that we're ever gonna give
up, than you are so wrong MrGunessee. The pictures of monkeys who are
suffering at the hands of vivisectors, scared waiting for their death,
is making us more determind by the minute!
So Mr Gunessee, why not choose life instead of death for those animals,
you have the power and responsibility! |
