Thomas
Cook demo in Holland
Dutch activists went to Thomas Cook. The workers, seeing
the really bad weather, probably thought that we would not show up, but
it is not a few drops of rain that can stop us.
Here more activists joined the demo. From the moment we arrived nobody
entered the shop and the only customer who was inside walked away embarassed
by our chanting "blood-blood-blood on your hands!". Inside,
Thomas Cook emplooyees didn't seem to be busy with work, the two young
ladies stood in front of the same computer for all the time we were there
probably watching or chatting with their boyfriend about the terrible
activists who stood in front of their windows. It seems there is not so
much work at Thomas Cook these times...
It was incredible how many people showed their support for this campaign
and the boycott of Mauritius taking leaflets, swearing they will never
travel to this island or enter a Thomas Cook until every cage in the monkey
farms are empty.
