Mauritian Embassy demo in London

Seeing the demos against the Mauritian Embassy in Belgium and Italy we thought that we had best start to become acquainted with the Embassy in London. I mean come on we can't have the Europeans having it all their own way with this being the year of the World Cup as well.

The Mauritian Embassy lies in a quiet residential street in a posh part of West London. Through loud hailers we explained to everyone listening in the vicinity about the Mauritian Government. This brought quite a few people to their doors and lots of skulking faces on the upper floors of the Embassy. As people listened we explained that between 10,000 -15,000 primates are exported of Mauritius every year to die in Vivisection labs from America to Japan and lots of labs in between, and how the Mauritius Government gets a $50 kick back for every primate sold to labs.

The whole time we were there nor 1 person entered the embassy and we asked them to come out and justify their position, seeing as there was the usual circus of van loads of cops outside and they could feel safe.

Did they come out? No of course not. Mauritius is the focus and closing down all the monkey farms is the goal and we will not rest until this is achieved. We call on all countries to start to organise demos outside the Mauritian Embassy in your country.
