Thomas Cook demo in Worcester

Activists braved the torrential rain today to hold a noisy, visual and informative demo outside Thomas Cook in Cheltenham as part of the global week of action against the Mauritian monkey trade.

For just over an hour TC were named and shamed for continuing to support the Mauritian tourist economy. Thomas Cook know full well that by them boycotting the island could spell the end for the evil monkey farms on Mauritius, but still they refuse to have a heart for the animals, so the name and shame demos continue..

Dozens of leaflets explaining the fate of primates that are held hostage on Mauritius and sold to vivisection labs around the world were handed to members of the public and plenty of support for the demo was received.

Despite the heavens opening up, people still seemed to have time to stop and chat about Thomas Cook's support of such brutality towards animals.

It's always good to know that the animals have friends everywhere, and that Thomas Cook are losing more and more custom due to the Gateway to Hell campaign.

Until all are free! Close down the monkey farms!
