Demo
at Thomas Cook in Leeds
Activists in Leeds visited Thomas Cook because of their involvement in
the torture of animals inside vivisection labs.
Leaflets were handed out and posters held, showing the public what a holiday
to Mauritius really means - the capture, torture and murder of primates.
Police arrived and attempted to stop the demo by threatening arrest if
posters were not put away. Yet again, police officers abusing their powers
to stop the truth getting out and prevent legitimate protest. Their presence
only drew more attention towards the plight of animals on Mauritius as
onlooking public took information.
No excuse for animal abuse! |
