NEPAL FAIR DEMONSTRATION

On the 21st of September 2008 Gateway to Hell activists visited The Nepal2008 trade fair in London intended to solicit foreign investment in Nepal. If people are going to invest in, (or travel to), Nepal we will be there to inform them of the monkey farming scandal!

There were numerous foreign businessmen, many of the Hindu religion, who were shocked and dismayed about such a scandalous betrayal of their religion. There were also numerous Nepalese media outlets present, all of whom expressed an interest in the protest and the campaign to save Nepal's monkeys from vivisection.

Everybody present at the trade fair was very supportive of the campaign and stated they would exert their influence to ensure the release of the monkeys. As we are still awaiting an official response from the new Nepalese government, we decided to leave a bundle of campaign leaflets and end the protest early.

One thing is certain, we won't be letting them off so lightly if the monkeys are still imprisonned in November when the Nepal Tourism Expo Tour begins.
