GATEWAY TO HELL DELEGATION IN COPENHAGEN

On Monday 25th of August, Gateway to Hell activists returning from the AR2008 in Sweden, visited the Ambassador at the Nepalese Embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark. He was presented with a dossier of the evidence of monkey farming in Nepal and requested to elaborate on his government's inherited policy of sending sacred animals to their deaths in American research laboratories and he agreed that such a policy would be completely unacceptable to most Nepalese people and no democratically elected government should be pursuing such an unpopular policy.

The meeting was generally positive and we hope that the Ambassador will make good his promise to pursue this urgent matter with the new Minister of Foresty and Soil Conservation at the first opportunity.

We were informed of the mass of other problems the new government needs to address, so due to the urgency of the situation we urge everyone to contact their local consulates and embassies to ensure that the first monkeys aren't forgotten and allowed to be sent to a life of hell in American breeding colonies!
